About Us

Controlled at the community level, Family Connection is a statewide network of Georgia counties committed to improving results for children and families through broad-based community collaborative efforts.  The community collaborative is a public/private partnership comprised of local business leaders, civic organizations, faith-based representatives, schools, local elected officials, public and private service providers, and concerned citizens.  Each county collaborative develops, implements, and evaluates its community plan designed to ensure:

• Children are healthy
• Children are ready to start school
• Children are successful in school
• Families are strong and self-sufficient
• Communities are strong
